He began his career in 1998 by releasing his first album ‘Comenzare’. His first album got Platinum and no.12 rank in US and no.27 in US Latin Charts. This album contains different hit songs like ‘Me Ire’, ‘Si Tu Quiseras’ Dime Como’ and Perdoname’.

After that he released his second album ‘Eterno’ in 2000 and got rank no.2 on US and no.6 on US Latin Charts.

Later, he released many albums one by one like ‘Amor Secreto’, Palabras del Silencio’ in 2008 and got no.1 rank in both US and US Latin Charts. His next album ‘Tierra Firme’ came in 2011 and hit in Mexico and Spain and got 1 position.

Fonsi won a title ‘Song of the Year’ by Grammy Awards for single ‘Aqui Estoy Yo’ in 2009. Recently, he with Daddy Yankee released their co-written song ‘Despacito’ in 2017. The video of this song earned 2 Billion views on YouTube rapidly. Later, Justine Bieber remixed it in English and sing a guest verse. This version of the song also hit monster smash in worldwide.
